Do Not Give Up …

Do Not Give Up

Do not give up
Do not give in,
Till you are alive
There is still some hope in.

Do not back down
Do not fear,
Feel the power
And pick up your gear.

Look back
And within,
See how far you have come
And tread uphill.

Tread into the unknown
Do not hesitate a bit,
The path to success will form by itself
Just keep up to it.

I like it. There is a lot of power in persistence. Today I realized that time is on your side, if you trend in the right direction, and persevere.

JD, that’s a nice observation. Going in the right direction and working hard both are important. Only one of them will not give desired results.

    Avani,

The poem reminded of this quote:

“Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.” – Marilyn vos Savant

Sunny, that’s a beautiful quote. Reminds one that failure is failure only when you choose to stay there and stop working towards success.

Wow, that’s beautiful and a new one for me. Thank you for sharing this quote. The one I love is ‘When you have come to the edge Of all light that you know And are about to drop off into the darkness Of the unknown, Faith is knowing One of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on or You will be taught to fly’

To give up is the favorite habit of the mind. Unless we become aware of this debilitating thought we can never hold unto any real success.

I’m with you Avani, let’s never give up. :-)

Avani, I love the first few lines, and ending especially!:
    ‘Do not hesitate a bit,
The path to success will form by itself
    Just keep up to it.’

Lately, I keep reminding myself why I’m doing what I’m doing and it’s all because I love the world(my divine family)! ;) I am learning that success is really about ‘listening to the heart’ and seeing it through! Thank you for your encouraging words today!

    Namaste!

I have a slow internet connection. Just yesterday, I was trying to download Google Picasa. The download failed after sometime. I tried again. It sort of went off the hook after 7.1 MB. That’s when a thought struck – what if I just keep trying to download it instead of fretting? So I kept at it. Eventually I was very, very happy when I finally downloaded it on my sixth attempt. :)

And then, even though this was a trivial thing, I laid back and thought – isnt just anyhting possible if you refuse to give up. And I felt very nice and attracted yoir post into my life. ;)
