Hi Avani!

Have your ever read "100 Simple Secrets of Successful People?" It is my second Bible. I love it! One thing in it as relates to this post, is something I keep in mind alot - We can "Declare" something to ourselves once - making a change, stating what we know has to be done. A relvelation. But that only lasts for so long. For action is our savior, which goes right along with the believing in yourself of this post. Yes, get back on that horse. For the only failing is giving up.

Thank you Avani.

(I enjoy your blog and it's inspiration more than you probably will ever know.)

I like the last quote a lot. I believe that the best way to follow your most rewarding dreams is figure out which possible action scares you the most, then follow that one - because it contains the most passion and will uncover our greatest power.

Brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous sounds like a great way to be! Or, at least have fun trying ;)

I think the key is to get back on your horse when you fall off, carry the lessons forward, and adopt a continuous improvement mindset.

Confidence is the secret key to competence. The problem is some folks think competence comes first. It's actually the confidence that helps you over the humps in the beginning when you're building your competence.

Hi Avani: I agree that the best defense against fear and rejection is to believe in yourself. I know some very talented people that allowed themselves to be derailed from following through on their goals because they didn't have enough self-confidence. On the other hand, I've seen people with very little talent succeed because they believed in themselves.

This is an inspiring post Avani.

I have noticed that in several cases, believing in myself makes ALL the difference. Since I especially value the opinion of people, the biggest one for me to deal with has been people's opinions. I have only recently learnt to shield myself from these.

I like the quote by Marianne Williamson too. I've often thought that it is a sense of inadequacy that is keeping most of us, including myself, back but I've often pondered over the saying: can it really be true? Are we stopping ourselves out of fear from being truly great?

I also like what you said about not giving in. We do deserve the best!!
