Hi, I'm
Great tip. I am somewhat of a soda addict. Thankfully I am slowly weaning off of it. I treat myself to two diet sodas per day. For the rest of the day, I always keep a full glass of water within reach, not matter where I am. I found this to be most effective because I drink as a matter of habit instead of thirst already, so the glass might as well be filled with something good for me.

Okay, I’m finally sold on it, although I always assume it is over-rated. I’ll try to step it up. (Even tho I already pee too much.)

I’m pretty good about drinking water. I may not get all 8 glassess in, but pretty close anyway. One thing I do is always carry around a bottle of water in my trunk in case I get thirsty.
We’re not carbonated beverage drinkers, so it’s usually water, milk, a little juice and a little coffee in the morning. I don’t even really like carbonated drinks any more.
I learned in biology class that most people walk around in a dehydrated state all the time.
Oh, and my roomate in college starting drinking a lot of water and her acne went away. It flushed the toxins out.

Hi Avani: I work out very hard at the gym so I need to drink more water than most people. I always try to have my water bottle nearby. It’s amazing how many people neglect to do something so simple that has all of the incredible benefits that you point out here.
Very nice! Thank you!
I was just talking to a friend yesterday about drinking water – and then to find your post one day later…I think someone is trying to tell me something…
My goal is to drink 10 glasses of water per day. I have a pitcher on my desk that holds 5 glasses when full so I have to drink two full pitchers everyday. Of course, I just started this yesterday… hopefully I can see the benefits soon!

Very useful!
I learned it hard way though. I had my first stone experience this year. I had surgery to remove 3mm stone from my right kidney.
My doctor prescribed lots of water. Ever since, I remember the feeling of horrendous pain as a reminder to drink plenty of water every day.
I drink a glass of water every hour.

I used to drink a bunch of soda, and not very much water. That, along with other poor health habits and a lack of exercise – led to some poor health issues.
Then, I made a switch a few years ago – now I rarely drink soda – and water is my main drink, along with milk, coffee, and tea. Still, water is tops on the list – and I really believe it is one of the major reasons I’ve gotten back into much better health. My life has turned around 180 degrees since I made these switches – and water was a very key ingredient in the whole process.
Excellent information Avani!

I usually drink more than 3l of water each day. Mainly because I am doing Bikram yoga 3-4 times a week and loose a lot of fluids this way. Apart from just drinking water I find it important for me to have electrolytes and magnesium.
I am staying away from fizzy drinks, I find they make you more thirsty anyway.
I don’t take fizzy drinks. I very much prefer water. I have a cup or two of coffee every day as well. But water is really my main liquid diet.

Counting pure water and teas I drink quite a lot, which sometimes worried me a bit (you know diabetes and that stuff). So I asked, and yes you can be an addict to water. Not that I am, but apparently it can happen. So just be careful
