We all have so much potential that God gave us at conception. Very few find it. Very few have parents or anyone else in their lives who help them bring it out. Fortunate are those who do! For the rest of us it is a long journey trying to figure everything out. I still love Paul J. Meyer's story of how his mother told him at the age of 12 or so that on a scale of 1-10 he was a 10 and that would never change. She was telling him in essence it was all there within him. Hmmm, the story itself strikes me as a bit corny (no disrespect to Hindu tradition — I’d call some of Japanese folk tales corny, too!) but what’s interesting to me is that even back then, people knew that there was hidden potential, the power that a lot of us aren’t tapping into, between us.

One time one of my teachers told me that every 500 years or so humanity goes through scientific revolution and it turns everything you know upside down. On the other hand, religious principles have stayed more or less the same for thousands of years.

My point is — we probably know a lot that science can’t figure out. We knew it before the current world view even came about.
